visualizes Child Sponsorship as a means but not an end to
enable the underprivileged children to start/continue their
education and to strengthen their social and psychological
environment. |

Through
sponsorship we arrange the payment of school fees, purchase
of textbooks, notebooks, school uniforms, clothes, umbrella/raincoat,
shoes/sandals, school stationery etc. and all such essential
materials to avail education.CASP arranges for medical check-ups
and holiday camps. Professional social workers monitor and
co-ordinate these activities in the selected communities.

sponsorship scheme he/she can avail the benefit of having
a Solar Lantern in the house. |

Providing
remedial tuition to the children in the community itself
is a step towards achieving their growth by their own and
a great relief for them who are financially weak.

Bal Panchayat (Child Parliament) |
A
recent, but innovative concept, the results of which are far
reaching. All children between the age group of 8 and 18 are
members of this Child Parliament. Kadamakudy Bal Panchayat
is a role model in this regard. |

medical check ups and immunization programmes are conducted
to keep the community healthy, free of communicable illnesses

for common illnesses are distributed free of cost and referral
services are made in case of acute illnesses. |

Awareness
classes are also conducted in regard to first aid services
and general health. |
Individual
as well as family counseling services are given wherever and
whenever necessary and also referrals are made in needy cases.
2 counselors are available in the CASP Office on all 1st and
3rd Saturdays of every month particularly for this service.
As the social workers closely monitor the sponsored children
and their families, each child is given individual attention
and so it is easy to identify the problems of the child and
their families |

is conducted every year in the month of December for the school
leaving students, envisaging their future education and its
opportunities. |

Personality
development sessions are incorporated with the purpose of
promoting Youth Leadership. |

of Gurukula education…?, where our great predecessors
had excellently shaped their future..,?, yes…this is
a replica of that, retaining the good elements. |

gives the children an opportunity to bring the best out of
them apart from the academic excellencies. Through informative
and interactive sessions, the children imbibe as well as exchange
